Adventure Valley – Pumpkin Festival – Tickets on sale – County Durham

FREE PUMPKIN WITH ENTRY – for every full paying child aged 2 and over. Treat the kids to an amazing autumn adventure!

Head over to the Pumpkin Barn and collect your pumpkin from our Pumpkin Patch, get creative with Pumpkin Carving (until 31st October), enjoy smashing fun with our Corn Cob Catapult, watch daily shows, and much more!

Alnwick Garden – Daytime Halloween Trail – Tickets on sale – Northumberland

Grisly ghouls, spooky skeletons and Halloween nasties have taken over The Alnwick Garden, grab your family’s hand and go on a spook-tacular adventure around The Alnwick ‘Spooky’ Garden. A trail card and activity pack will assist you on your ghoulsome journey. Caution – some of the installations may be frightening for very young children or cowardly custards.

Beamish – October Half Term – Tickets on sale – County Durham

Join us this October Half Termand enjoy two transport events, live music and Halloween-themed family fun! Plus you can help us choose the winning scrumptious sundae which will be sold in John’s Cafe in The 1950s Town next year! There’s so much to see and do at Beamish during October Half Term. Visitors can also enjoy Halloween-themed family fun during the local school holidays, with scary sights and pumpkin carving at Pockerley Old Hall, plus join in with a fun family activity. Share your best spooky jokes and add them to our ghostly bunting in the 1950s welfare hall. Can you spot the creepy costumed cast of not-so-cuddly bears in our Haunting Halloween Teddy Bear Trail? Find the bears in their handcrafted spooky outfits around the museum and more.

Belsay Hall Castle and Gardens – Wizards Quest – Tickets on sale – Tyne & Wear

Head to Belsay Hall for a fantastical day out this Halloween half-term. Explore the grounds on our brand-new adventure trail inspired by Cressida Cowell’s bestselling Wizards of Once series. Will you find the ingredients for the Spell to get rid of Witches and uncover the location of the Cup of Second Chances? Come along in frightful fancy dress to enter our competition and maybe win a prize. It’s going to be a really wizard day out!

GOOLISH adventures in our NEW family GHOST Trail – The Witches and Warlocks – Dress to impress – SPOT PRIZES afoot for Best Costumes and make up – including the ADULTS! This Time Slot is 6pm – 7pm Each time slot will be action packed and last approx 1 hour, includes refreshments. Down at the farm – Pumpkin Week – Tickets on sale – Tyne & Wear

Visit our indoor pumpkin patch and get carving. Enter our spooky fun house filled with lots of surprises. Follow the trail to find the spooky objects and win a treat. Plus lots of outdoor play. Tickets are limited.

Hall Hill Farm – Spooky Half-Term – Tickets on sale – County Durham

Are you brave enough to come to Hall Hill Farm for a ghoulishly-good time?    There are lots of extra activities- including giant scarecrows, haunted Sheep Race, Mini Monster Maze, Trick or Treat treasure hunt,  choose your pumpkin from the pumpkin patch,  carve your lantern, and the Spooky Spider Barrel Train. 

There are small additional charges for pumpkins,  and the Barrel Train (£1).

Raby Castle – Halloween Half Term Trail – Tickets on sale – County Durham

This half term join us at Raby Castle for a spooktacular Halloween trail in our Walled Gardens. Collect an activity sheet from our creepy Coach Yard and see what hidden creatures you can find. Steer clear of the Witch’s cauldron and brave our scary spiders to find all of the clues and complete the puzzle.

Whitehouse Farm Centre – Halloween Spooktacular – Tickets on sale – Tyne & Wear

Entry is strictly by Pre-Booked Tickets Only. Every day in the Ghostly Grim Grotto budding witches & wizards can watch Magic Merlins Spooktacular Show. Your little beasties can come in Fancy Dress and enter the Fancy Dress Competition & you could win a prize for best costume!

You may also bump into some odd characters as the staff get dressed up too.!!.  
Take your pick of the pumpkins in our Spooktacular Pumpkin Patch. We are offering one FREE PUMPKIN for each FULL paying child, extras can be purchased for those not covered by the free pumpkin offer.
