Here it is, our list of the best summer events across the South East to keep you busy all summer. This list includes events in the North East – County Durham, Northumberland and Tyne and Wear. All events are family-friendly.

It may also be an idea to check with the attraction that everything is as advertised the day before you visit.

Alnwick Castle – Outdoor Theatre – Northumberland

A Bit About – Robin Hood outdoor theatre performance. “Prepare for a riotous summer adventure fit for all the family, as The Fools present battle to tell their own version of the legendary tale of Robin Hood. Expect fast-paced drama, plenty of musical instruments and many a quick costume change along the way!”

Alnwick Garden – We’re off to see the garden – Northumberland
