Arley Hall and Gardens – Cheshire

Event – Easter Garden Trail About – Over Easter, we will have an exciting trail in the gardens for children to follow and be delighted by. Collect the hidden clues as you discover them in the gardens then take them back to the shop for your Easter prize. Open from 10 am – 5 pm, normal entry fees apply.

Beeston Castle – Cheshire

When? 2nd – 18th April

Event – Easter Adventure Quest About – English Heritage. Join us for a cracking adventure quest at Beeston Castle this Easter holiday. Explore the site to hunt for clues and challenges, and discover traditional Easter games like egg rolling and the egg and spoon race. Track down the Easter eggs and you’ll be rewarded with a chocolate treat and an adventurer’s certificate. The quest costs just £1.50, which you can pay when you arrive at the site. This is in addition to the normal ticket price.

Event – Alice in Wonderland Easter Experience Sneaky Family About – Alice and friends have escaped from the pages of Lewis Carroll’s marvellous tale, and the enchanted world of Wonderland has mysteriously sprung into the grounds of the Hall. There’s Alice, Queen of Hearts, Absolem the Caterpillar and of course the Rabbit…will he lead you this way, or that way – who knows! Dress up and join the fun as the much-loved adventure comes to life. There’s an Easter Egg included with every full-paying child ticket, making this the perfect Easter trip out for the whole family.

Event -Easter Fun About – In addition to all of the usual fantastic Animal experiences, Tedventure play and attractions, join us to meet the real Easter bunny, see the brand new Easter Themed Shaun the Sheep show – Shaun Laid an Egg and visit the wonderful spring lambs. You can also search the bunny trail in our Easter puzzle and get crafting at Mossy Bottom crafts.

Haigh Woodland Park – Greater Manchester

Event – An Easter Adventure About – Come on a family-friendly interactive theatre trail and help save Easter from being cancelled. With your help and guided by the trusty Easter chick – you can save the day! You and your family will embark on an hour-long adventure, to find some other characters within the Woodlands and Gardens. Finding clues, solving riddles and puzzles along the way. The Easter Bunny himself is set to make an appearance as we finally, after facing many challenges all the way, become official members of the Easter Alliance.

Holker Hall – Cumbria

Event – Two events About – Charlie’s Chocolate Extravaganza, 16th April. The Storytellers present a magical interactive children’s outdoor theatre experience, ‘Charlies Chocolate Extravaganza’ in the striking surroundings of Holker Hall Gardens. Malice in Wonderland, 17th April. Part Mystery, part Scavenger Hunt and Treasure Trail, this interactive event is fun for all the family. Just make sure you don’t lose your head whilst you seek out the solution and head towards your happily ever after!

Knowsley Safari Park – Merseyside

When? 4th, 5th, 11th and 12th April

Event – Easter Intrepid Explorers Kids Club About – The day will start with some fun and Easter-themed games, which will be followed by making an Easter treat for one of our animals! We will then spend the morning visiting all our animals on the foot safari to wish them a super Happy Easter, before delivering our handmade present to our lucky animal. In the afternoon, your little Easter bunnies will experience a ride on our very own baboon bus. They will then finish their exciting and fun-filled day with an Easter craft to take home with them! Drop off and pick up.

Lakeland Wildlife Oasis – Cumbria

Event – Easter Eggstravaganza About -Over Easter we will be highlighting the queer and curious eggs from different creatures. There will be an eggy themed trail for the younger visitors with egg related activities as well extra keeper talks throughout the week.

Lowther Castle – Cumbria

When? 2nd – 18th April

Event – Easter Bee Trail About -For this year’s Easter trail, we are looking at stories from around the world about honey and honey bees. Please follow the panels round the garden. Each panel will guide you to the next. On every panel, you will see a capital red letter. There are eight letters in total. These letters spell a word. When visitors have finished the trail, every junior participant, should he or she crack the code on the way round, can claim a prize at Admissions.

Lyme Park – Cheshire

Event – Easter Egg Hunts About – National Trust. Make your way along the trail and find nature-inspired activities for the whole family. Come along and explore the beautiful Gardens of Lyme. The price of the trail is £3 per child and includes a trail map, pencil and a chocolate egg at the end.

Muncaster Castle – Cumbria

Event – Easter at Muncaster About – Join us for some Easter fun with trails around the gardens and castle. Pick up Easter Trail sheets from The Carriage House or Bird Box gift shops for just 50p and go on an Easter adventure! Successfully completed sheets can be handed in at The Carriage House for a prize.

Event -Easter Line Quiz About – Fun for all ages with prizes for our younger visitors. Pick up a line quiz sheet on arrival at either booking office and look out for the letters painted on our giant Easter eggs at various locations up the line as you travel between Dalegarth and Ravenglass. There are eleven letters to find that make up a word, get the answer right and go and claim your chocolate egg.

Ribble Steam Railway – Lancashire

You’ll be spoilt for choice with treasure hunt-style trails in the Gardens, Mansion, Farm and Parkland. Expect to help mythical creatures, meet magical beings and receive chocolate rewards on your adventures with us. You can: search for Mermaid’s treasure in the Gardens. Be as brave as a knight to defeat the mighty Mansion dragons find the naughty troll at the Farm. Plus follow the trail through Dairy Wood Way in the Parkland.

Walby Farm Park – Cumbria

Event – Where’s Whooly? About – This Easter we need your help. Can you, your family and friends help Farmer Matt search the farm and find ‘Woolly’ the lost lamb. As you search the farm, look out for clues along the way whilst meeting many of our different animals on your journey. Each visiting little helper will receive a tasty treat for helping out!
