Amberley Museum – Sussex

Event – Easter Holiday Activities About – From Friday 29 March to Sunday 14 April, find out about birds that nest at this time of year with our Bird Egg Easter Trail. On Wednesdays and Fridays (not Good Friday), head to the Learning Space to try your hand at some seasonal weaving. On Friday 5 and 12 April, the popular West Sussex Woodturners will also be on hand to help you carve a wooden keepsake (£1.50 per piece).

Arundel Castle – Sussex

Event – Medieval Festival Easter About – Set within a large, tented encampment on the lower lawns of the castle, the three-day immersive event will feature 12th-century combat demonstrations, archery and falconry displays. There will be craft tents where artisans show how they make things like pewter items, cook food, work with leather, and more. You can listen to medieval music from Myal and Peg, and there will be plenty of ‘have-a-go’ activities*, including archery and axe throwing. Children can even have the chance to participate in the renowned Arundel Castle ‘Kids Battle’.
