Right on the beach with four pools and a waterpark is the Golden Taurus Aquapark Resort. This is located in Pineda De Mar in Spain’s Costa Brava. It is in a quiet spot with the beach being of sand and shingle. The town’s shops and restaurants are just a 10-minute walk away.
In the town, there are whitewashed houses, tree-lined streets and an 11th-century church. Down by the water, there is a small harbour and the white sandy beach just runs on and on. Girona Airport is a 50-minute coach transfer to the hotel.
Highlights
There are three outdoor pools with music and entertainment throughout the day at the main pool. There are lots of daytime activities at the 2nd pool and the 3rd pool is quieter, which is perfect for relaxing. Children have two pools of their own and there is a great on-site waterpark. This is open from mid-May until mid-September. Guests have free and unlimited access to the waterpark which has a range of slides and an aqua-playground. Some of the slides have height and age restrictions.

Your Board Basis
There are three board packages to choose from – all-inclusive, full board and half-board. The all-inclusive package includes a buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner. Plus there are hot and cold snacks throughout most of the day. Included drinks are available from 9 a.m. until 11:30 p.m.
The main buffet restaurant serves traditional Spanish and International dishes. Children have their own food and all guests can enjoy a weekly chocolate fountain. There are also a few bars on-site.
Additional Activities
In the daytime, there are plenty of extra activities such as bike excursions, water volleyball and games. Other facilities include a games room, archery, tennis, and more. There is also a playground and a soft play area.
Entertainment
From May to September, there is a TUI-run Kids’ Club. Six days a week there are disco nights, parent-and-baby sessions and more. For ages 3-6 there is the Minis Club and for ages 7-12 there is the Maxis Club. In the evenings all the family can enjoy the entertainment. This can include shows with magicians, acrobats, music and tribute acts. There is also a kids’ disco and face painting.
