This huge hotel has 10 pools and 10 restaurants to choose from. The Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Punta Cana has a music theme and it is great for families. Located on the east coast of the Dominican Republic it is a sprawling waterfront resort. The fabulous white sandy beach stretches along the coastline for 10 kilometres. It’s worth knowing that this beach can sometimes experience increased seaweed. The hotel’s staff do everything they can to clear it. The Punta Cana airport is a 50-minute drive away,
Everything at the hotel leads off from a massive atrium-style lobby. It has everything from a giant casino to a swanky spa, a beachfront and plenty of activities.
Highlights
The swimming pools are dotted around the resort and they have various themes. Activities take place in the central pool. Highlights include the Rockaway Bay on-site waterpark. This has nine high-speed slides for teens and adults plus eight kid-friendly slides. There is a kid’s pool area, an outdoor family pool with waterslides and activities for under 16s and a wave rider. This is the hotel’s own surf simulator which is for ages 4 and over.

Your Board Basis
The hotel’s board is all-inclusive. This includes a buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner. Plus snacks at set times, selected local-brand alcohol, soft drinks, tea and coffee. You are spoilt for choice here with the ten on-site restaurants and a whopping 23 bars. Restaurants include an Italian, an Asian Fusion and a steakhouse.

There is a wide selection of on-site facilities. These include an 18-hole championship golf course, beach volleyball, beach football and minigolf. Plus there is ten-pin bowling, paddle surfing, mini-chef competitions and an adults-only Vegas-style casino. Adults can unwind in the Rock Spa which features lagoon pools, 2 whirlpools, a steam room, a sauna, a sensory room and more.
Entertainment
For children, there is the Roxity Kids’ Club. Your children will be kept entertained with a variety of interactive activities such as singing, dancing, fancy dress and shows. In the evening there is entertainment which can include film screenings, shows, pyjama parties for families, quizzes and karaoke. The hotel also offers entertainment in the daytime.
