A stay at the Hotel Caribe also gets you free access to PortAventura World Theme Park. Located in PortAventura in Costa Dorada Spain this hotel has a man-made beach and 2 huge outdoor pools and it is a 20-minute walk from Salou’s Beaches. The theme park is a 10-minute walk away which also includes Ferrari Land and PortAventura Caribe Aquatic Park. The nearest shops, bars and restaurants are around 1.3km away. Barcelona is an hour away on the train and Reus Airport is a 45-minute coach transfer to the hotel.
Highlights
The two pools at the hotel are huge! One of them even has its own white-sand beach that is dotted with parasols and sunbeds. It is worth noting that one of the pools is only open from May to September. For those staying in the Club San Juan rooms, there is a pool for exclusive use. There is a separate pool for birds and a couple of poolside bars. It’s worth knowing that you are not allowed to use your own armbands or inflatable toys in the hotel’s pools. You can only use the ones approved by the hotel.

Your Board Basis
There are three board packages at this hotel; bed and breakfast, half-board and full-board. The main restaurant is an international buffet that overlooks the lake and has seating indoors and outdoors. Plus there is a traditional Tapas restaurant, an Italian and a cafe.

Entertainment
Evening entertainment is quite limited at the hotel but there is a nightly children’s disco. You can enjoy a show at PortAventura day and night in the high season and the bigger rides stay open until late. Plus the theme park has a nightly firework display with the park stays open until midnight.
