A stylish hotel with first-class food and sea views is the Sani Beach Resort on the mainland of Greece. It is right next to a Blue Flag sandy beach and the pool enjoys sea views. The stretch of sand is 7km long and there is plenty to keep all the family occupied. Just a 5-minute walk from the hotel is Sani’s marina and also nearby are shops, bars, tavernas and restaurants. You can take a shuttle bus from the hotel to Sani Resort every 20 minutes until late. Sani is a vibrant seaside town with Mount Olympus in the distance. Thessaloniki airport is a 60-minute transfer by coach.
Highlights
There is a massive on-site pool that looks straight out to sea. It is a lagoon-style pool with a little island and wooden bridges. Plus there is an infinity pool and a kids’ pool. Children also have a splash pool that is surrounded by lush gardens and has a family pool right next to it. The infinity pool is heated in the low season. The indoor pool is part of the spa area so it can only be used for ages 16 and over out-of-season. From April until October all the family can use the indoor pool in the mornings.

Your Board Basis
At this hotel, you can either choose from half-board or full-board. The full board includes breakfast, lunch and an evening meal. Drinks and snacks are not included. A Dine-around meal plan allows you to sample food at more than 26 restaurants throughout the Sani resort. You can choose from set menus at no extra cost or receive a 20e meal allowance of 10e for children towards a la carte orders.
Additional Activities
You have plenty of activities to choose from at this hotel. At the beach, there is a great range of watersports all of which have an additional charge. Also at an extra charge, there is a football academy for ages 5-14, boat tours, Scuba lessons, tennis courts and bird watching. Included in your stay there is bike hire, daytime activities, tours of a local farm, aerobics, basketball, volleyball, table tennis and more.
Entertainment
Children aged 4-12 can take part in the Mini Club. There is a range of activities and an outdoor playground plus trips to the beach. Booking before you leave home is recommended. In the evenings all the family can enjoy entertainment at the open-air garden theatre. They run a varied programme of professional shows and live performances. Plus there are beach parties, a teens club and a creche for ages 6 months to 4 years.
