The Serenity Fun City Resort near Hurghada, Egypt has a theme park, a waterpark, two big pools and a long list of activities. Hurghada City is the second largest town on the Red Sea and with a world-renowned coral reef, it is one of Egypt’s busiest holiday destinations. The hotel is located 40 minutes by coach from Hurghada airport, 800 metres to the beach and 9km from Makadai Bay resort centre.
Highlights
The on-site waterpark has 26 waterslides which include a family slide, a wave slide and a space boat slide. Plus there is a crazy river, slides just for kids and two big pools. At the waterpark, there is a food court where you can grab a burger or pizza.
There are two big pools or why not head to the private stretch of sand which is shared by the hotel next door. At the beach, you will find chairs and parasols.

Your Board Basis
The Serenity Fun City operates on an All Inclusive board basis. This includes buffet-style breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Plus snacks at set times and selected local-brand alcohol, soft drinks, tea and coffee.
The buffet restaurant serves a wide choice of international dishes. You can dine outdoors if you like and they also run themed nights. Other restaurants on-site include Italian, Asian and Oriental which are at an additional cost. Plus there is a range of bars including an English pub.
Additional Activities
Also at the hotel, there is Luna Park. This has classic funfair rides such as dodgems, a carousel and a junior coaster. There is an extra charge for the rides.
Scuba diving is a popular sport at the Serenity Fun City. You can hire equipment at the dive centre and enjoy seeing octopuses, turtles, sting rays and more among the coral. Lessons are available, subject to availability.
On dry land there are tennis courts and volleyball on the beach plus at an extra charge there is a games room and snorkelling for the younger visitors or those not experienced in diving. The hotel has free Wi-Fi.
The hotel has a choice of rooms from double rooms with the possibility of a terrace or balcony, to family rooms with a choice of view and balcony or terrace.

Entertainment
The Serenity Fun City runs a Disney-themed kids’ club which hosts mini-discos, pool games and competitions. They also have big-scale evening shows each week with colourful costumes, music and dancing.
