This year I’ve booked us holidays away where I’ve gone out of my way to find us somewhere to stay with a hot tub. We hired a lovely lodge late last year and spent lots of our time hopping in and out of the hot tub. It helped make our holiday that extra bit special. It would seem there are rather a lot of options for places to stay in Yorkshire with hot tubs.
I have included as many as I can find where families are welcome in this post. I will cover a bit about the site, the accommodation that includes a hot tub and if there is anything to do on-site. Hopefully, it will save you time scouring multiple websites. I haven’t included a few sites as although they do welcome families they are smaller and quieter places with more of a focus on romance than families. Aysgarth Lodges – North Yorkshire

Location – Aysgarth, Yorkshire Dales National Park DL8 3SP
A Bit About – The location offers spectacular views of the Yorkshire Dales. The lodges are situated on the banks of Bishopdale Beck and are within walking distance of Aysgarth Falls. All of the lodges have a hot tub.
Accommodation – You can choose from a selection of modern and well-appointed 1-4 bedroom lodges each with an outdoor hot tub. They have around 12 different lodges to choose from.
Things to do on-site – There is a play area, a bar and restaurant and a petting farm.
Badgers Retreat Holiday Park – North Yorkshire

A Bit About – Located between the Yorkshire Dales and the North Yorkshire moors is this well-appointed park teeming with wildlife. It boasts 26 acres of grounds including lawns, gardens and a beautiful stream.
Accommodation – There are two types of lodges at this holiday park that have a hot tub. Deer Lodge sleeps up to 4 people with 2 bedrooms. Robin Lodge sleeps up to 6 with 3 bedrooms. Both of these are pet-friendly and have an outdoor hot tub.
Things to do on-site – 26 acres of grounds to explore.
Bainbridge Ings – North Yorkshire

A Bit About – Bainbridge Ings Country Park is a quiet family-run holiday park set in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. The park has an elevated position with amazing views of Wensleydale. The market town of Hawes is just a short walk away.
Accommodation – Not all of the accommodation has a hot tub. Those that do which can sleep families are the Dalesman VIP open-plan mini lodges that sleep up to 4. Plus the Ingleborough Lodge with 2 bedrooms that sleeps up to 4 and the Stags Fell with 2 bedrooms that also sleeps up to 4.
Things to do on-site – There are no main on-site facilities.
Blackthorn Gate – North Yorkshire

A Bit About – Combine spacious living quarters, a steaming hot tub and a sauna and you have a cabin at Blackthorn Gate. Surrounded by nature at Eastfields Farm their four airy cabins are inspired by the sound of birdsong.
Accommodation – There are 4 lodges each with its own outdoor hot tub. Curlew sleeps up to 4 guests with 3 beds. Chaffinch for up to 4 guests with 3 beds, Skylark for up to 5 guests with 3 beds and Lapwing for up to 5 guests with 3 beds. Each has a range of facilities.
Things to do on-site – Table tennis. games room and fishing.
Brompton Lake Lodges – North Yorkshire

A Bit About – They offer 20 contemporary and luxury lakeside lodges. The private estate is surrounded by mature woodlands and open fields. Most, but not all lodges are on the lake.
Accommodation – Each of the lodges has three bedrooms with their own comfortable and contemporary style. They have bespoke interiors that have been finished impeccably. Some of the lodges have an outdoor hot tub that is heated using wood.
Things to do on-site – Complimentary bike hire, fishing and tennis courts.
Camp Katur – North Yorkshire

A Bit About – Nestled in the beautiful Camp Hill Estate is a glamping experience with a vast choice of accommodation options. The Meadow is off the grid with a quirky range of accommodation including Yurts, Safari tents, Pods and clear Unidomes. Hill Farm has stargazing geodomes with log burners and electricity (a new addition for 2021). Chestnut Hill has two high-quality geodomes with stunning views plus a lodge great for families.
Accommodation – The only accommodation at Camp Katur that has its own hot tub is Bear’s Place. This is a really quirky place to stay created with 70% upcycled, restorative and sustainable materials – there’s even a horsebox to the rear of the accommodation used as the bunk bedroom. There is a small kitchen, wood burner, double bedroom and a wood-fired hot tub (additional charge for the wood).
Things to do on-site – There is the Swing Park, The Woodland Kingdom Children’s area, forest walks and pathways plus their very own pub the Hebridean which serves local ale and food. They also offer experiences for an additional charge these include bird watching, den building workshop, stargazing and more. The play area has been made from reclaimed natural timber and has ropes, slides and more.
Catgill Farm Camping and Glamping – North Yorkshire

A Bit About – Recently expanded in 2019 the site now has glamping timber pods and bell tents. The site has spectacular views across the Wharfe Valley and there is a small stream that meanders through the site.
Accommodation – Their timber pods can sleep up to 6 people. There is a double bed, a bunk bed and a sofa bed. They each have their own unique woodland scheme and inside there is a small fitted kitchen, a wet room and a comfortable seating area. There is electricity and a private hot tub, shower, toilet and pizza oven.
Things to do on-site – Fire baskets can be hired from reception. The farm is close to many popular cycling routes. here is a morning coffee shop, a shop and local walks. The farm is also a great place for stargazing.
Cayton Bay – North Yorkshire

A Bit About – Parkdean’s Cayton Bay Holiday Park has lodges for hire with hot tubs. There is a great range of on-site facilities and other kinds of accommodation are available. Perfectly positioned on the Yorkshire coastline, a glorious sandy beach is right on your doorstep.
Accommodation – There is a range of luxury lodges with a hot tub. These lodges have 3 to 4 bedrooms and include central heating, TV, kitchen, dining area, lounge, dishwasher and more.
Things to do on-site – There is an adventure playground, soft play, indoor heated pool with waterslide, amusement arcade, multi-sports court, mini-golf and more.
Dacre Lakeside – East Riding Yorkshire

A Bit About – The holiday park is home to a range of self-catering accommodation including lodges with hot tubs. The park is set around a large lake with a range of activities. Some of the lodges sit on the water’s edge. The site also has pitches for those with tents and caravans.
Accommodation – The lodges are individually designed and well-furnished. All of the park lodges have an outdoor hot tub on a decked area. There is a choice of different lodges with one to two bedrooms, a fully fitted kitchen, en-suite and additional bathroom plus a lounge and dining area.
Things to do on-site – There is a small wooden play area, a pizzeria restaurant overlooking the lake and watersports including stand-up paddleboarding, canoeing and pedalos. You can also fish on the lake.
Flamingo Land – North Yorkshire

A Bit About – Flamingo Land is a large theme park with on-site accommodation. There is a range of lodges available with some of their lifestyle lodges having the added bonus of a hot tub. Set in over 375 acres of North Yorkshire countryside, Flamingo Land Resort provides the ideal location to spend time with family and friends. Guests have unlimited access to the on-site theme park and zoo which boasts over 100 rides, shows and attractions for all the family.
Accommodation – Lifestyle Lodge offers accommodation for up to 6 guests. They feature one double bedroom and a bunk room for two children. The living area includes a sofa bed for two extra guests. In lodges with showers, there is also a hot tub. Hot tubs are not available in their dog-friendly accommodation.
Things to do on-site – As well as access to the theme park the resort also has a number of facilities for its guests. Facilities include an indoor heated pool, a bar, a gym, a cafe, takeaway and more. They also offer additional things to do for an extra cost including archery, an evening zoo safari, waterwalkerz, amusements and a climbing wall.
Forest Holidays Cropton – North Yorkshire
Location – Cropton, Pickering YO18 8ES
A Bit About – Situated in a picturesque woodland meadow in the heart of Cropton Forest. Their cabins are the perfect choice for adventurers, nature lovers and stargazers. There are 57 one to three-bedroom cabins set in a grassy meadow.
Accommodation – There is a good choice of cabins to choose from and they all have an outdoor hot tub. Some of the lodges are pet-friendly and have wheelchair access. A typical lodge includes one double room with an en-suite and one twin room. Plus a kitchen, decking, underfloor heating, lounge area, TV and more.
Things to do on-site – You can enjoy forest walks, cycle trails and nature trails. There are ranger-led walks and activities, a zip wire, mountain bike hire, archery, a shop and a cafe. Please note that there may be a charge for some activities.
Forest Holidays Keldy – North Yorkshire
Location – Keldy Cabin, Cawthorn, Keldy Castle, Pickering YO18 8HW
A Bit About – Keldy offers its visitors an ideal opportunity to get away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. It is set in an idyllic location on the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors. Set within the Forestry Commission estate of Keldy Forest. The lodges are tucked away deep in the heart of the forest.
Accommodation – There is a good choice of cabins to choose from and they all have an outdoor hot tub. Some of the lodges are pet-friendly and have wheelchair access. A typical lodge includes one double room with an en-suite and one twin room. Plus a kitchen, decking, underfloor heating, lounge area, TV and more.
Things to do on-site – There is a shop and a coffee lounge plus forest walks, cycle trails, a play area and nature trails. For an additional charge you can take part in archery, ranger-led walks and activities plus there is a zip wire.
Griffon Forest Holiday Lodges – North Yorkshire

A Bit About – Griffon Forest holiday lodges are tucked away in the heart of 100 acres of woodland. They offer a haven of peace and tranquillity to visitors. The lodges are cosy and they all feature a hot tub.
Accommodation – There are around 6 different lodges to choose from with 1-3 bedrooms all with a hot tub, a couple of the options are pet friendly. A standard lodge includes one double and one twin bedroom. Plus a timber decked area, heating, TV, kitchen, lounge, BBQ and bathroom.
Things to do on-site – Sandburn Hall is a 10-minute walk away, there is a Sports bar, a badger watch on your TV, day kennels, a restaurant and a network of walks and trails. For an additional charge there is indoor tennis/badminton, a fly fishing lake and an 18-hole golf course.
Humble Bee Farm Glamping – North Yorkshire

A Bit About – They have a range of accommodation options at the farm. For accommodation with a hot tub, you want to be looking to book one of their Deluxe Wigman cabins with a wood-fired hot tub or a premium woodland lodge with an electric hot tub. Experience Humble Bee farm and meet the farmyard gang, collect eggs and make new friends in the play area or sports field. Dogs are welcome.
Accommodation – Their premium wigwam lodges with electric hot tubs are fully heated for a year-round staycation. There are en-suite facilities, a kitchen area, dining table and chairs, comfy beds and more. They can sleep up to 6. The Deluxe Wigwam cabins with wood-fired hot tubs can sleep up to 2 adults and 2 children. There is a kitchenette and dining room plus comfortable beds.
Things to do on-site – You can walk on their trail around the farm, collect eggs and see their animals. There is a BBQ hut, a sports field and a small play area.
Pinewood Park – North Yorkshire – North Yorkshire

A Bit About – At Pinewood Park, you can choose from a range of different sizes and types of glamping accommodation, all are heated and weatherproof. The options that include a hot tub are mentioned below. They also have pitches for caravans, motorhomes and tents.
Accommodation – They have ranch retreats with hot tubs with two single beds, a double bed, a fridge, heating and more. Plus there are family retreat lodges with hot tubs and Tipi retreats with hot tubs, Their glamping accommodation does not have its own toilets/shower facilities. They have wash blocks for their glampers and campers to use. They even now have converted helicopters that you can stay in.
Things to do on-site – You can explore their seven-acre site and there’s plenty to do nearby. There is a large playfield where kids can play safely.
Skipbridge Farm Glamping – North Yorkshire

A Bit About – Skipbridge Farm Glamping is located in the heart of North Yorkshire. You can relish the joys of camping and the outdoors without any hassle. They provide bell tents and handmade 100% recycled wood glamping pods with rustic and tasteful interiors.
Accommodation – They have 4m and 5m bell tents. The 5m tents have up to 1 single bed and 2 double beds. They can provide various bed layouts. They also have glamping pods that can sleep, 2 adults and 1 child. These can be booked with wood-fired hot tubs. There is a large toilet block with showers plus tea and coffee facilities.
Things to do on-site – Based on their farm they have various animals right next to where you are staying. The alpacas will come right up to see you and they also have goats, donkeys and horses that may come over for a stroke. They also offer tours of their vineyard (additional cost). They are currently installing a big pizza oven.
Studford Luxury Lodges – North Yorkshire

Accommodation – Their six luxury self-catering tree houses are entirely unique, built on stilts in a private forest in the North York Moors National Park, and spaced well apart for ultimate privacy and peace. A Bit About – Located just a 3-mile drive from the Yorkshire coast. The country park offers luxury log lodges all with their own log-burning stoves. Set in 37 acres of countryside with fishing lakes. They have a range of hot tubs, most lodges come with their own private hot tub.
Accommodation – There are 30 lodges with 1-3 bedrooms. The majority have an outdoor private hot tub and all lodges are fully equipped.

A Bit About – Woodland Lakes is a luxurious family retreat nestled around quiet fishing lakes in a picturesque setting close to York. Their lodges offer space and luxury with hot tubs on selected lodges.
Accommodation – Most of their lodges include an outdoor hot tub and there is a good range of lodges to choose from. Lodges have from 1 to 4 bedrooms and include at least one bathroom and at least one bedroom. Plus a lounge with TV, kitchen, dishwasher, verandah, heating and more.
Things to do on-site – There is a state-of-the-art leisure centre featuring an indoor swimming pool with a jacuzzi, soft play for the little ones, a restaurant and a takeaway. Plus fishing, a shop, spa treatments and a play area.
