Bewilderwood is located in Hoveton near Norwich in Norfolk. It’s situated in a really beautiful spot with trees and a lake. It has a fantasy and adventure theme focused around Boggles, Crocklebogs and Twiggles. It’s a great attraction for children’s imaginations to run wild.

What is there to do at Bewilderwood?

You have two choices to take when you arrive. Do you take the Treacherous trail or take the Bewilderwood boat along the junction through the Dismal Dyke and up to the Scaaaaaary Lake. Neither are as scary as they sound and are a great way to start your day. On the boat ride you find out all about the characters that live along the water’s edge.

Other attractions include a ‘broken bridge’ play area with wooden walkways, cargo nets and of course a fun ‘broken bridge’, plus a big slide. In TipToe Valley there is a small playground, face painting and a stage for interactive stories.

There is an excellent Sky Maze which will challenge you in many ways, we really had to concentrate on where we had been to finally find our way to the middle. Plus you can enjoy den building and games, tunnels, a muddle maze, fantastic long zip wires, steep slides and treetop houses. They often have craft activities and a smaller version of Bewilderwood for toddlers, aptly named Toddlewood on the Hill.

New for 2019 they opened Towering Treetop Tangles. It reaches more than 30 feet high into the trees and covers 1,000 square feet. It is aimed at older kids and is an adventurous playground.
