This includes events and attractions that are open in Bedfordshire – Cambridgeshire – Essex – Hertfordshire – Norfolk – Suffolk. Event – Springtime Surprise About – Families are offered a front-row seat to spot little bunnies, an array of colourful eggs, blooming flowers and the lush greenery of Spring. The train will stop for our live show, where you will find the Easter Bunny and friends on the farm. Before you head back to the station, each child will receive a springtime souvenir. After your train ride, our life-sized Fairy will help you plant your own flowers! Then, follow the magic through the paths and follow our Easter Egg Hunt and find our Fairy and Elves in their bespoke handmade homes.

Event – Easter Eggspress About – Hop on board the Easter Eggspress over the Easter school holidays for an “eggciting” day out for all the family. Event – Easter Sunday Egg Hunt About – Chocolate prize for every egg hunter even if you don’t finish. Windmill tours are £5 per person. We are also holding a raffle during the day with the tickets being drawn at 3:15 pm.

Event – Easter Egg Hunt About – Find all the eggs that the Easter Bunny has hidden all along our line. Running the length of the railway track, from Ongar through to Coopersale, the distance covered is equivalent to 131,579 eggs placed end to end. You’ll need to hop on and off our steam and diesel trains to find them all.

Event – Easter Bunny Fly-in and Egg Hunt About – We are thrilled to be hosting our annual Easter bunny fly-in once more for this unique and lively event, suitable for children of all ages.

Follow the on site signage once parked up and look up to the sky around 11:30am to watch the Easter Bunny make an entrance from the airfield. Follow the bunny’s helpers into Shuttleworth Swiss Garden and join the hunt to find the eggs they left behind throughout the Garden. Once you have collected three Easter eggs, take them to the Garden Room and claim a chocolate surprise from the Easter bunny.
