Knebworth House is a beautiful house set within grounds of over 250 acres near Stevenage, just off the A1.
What can you do at Knebworth House?
There is a Fort Adventure playground named Fort Knebworth. It is an enclosed wooden play area with slides, tunnels, zip wires and multi-levels to play on. They have three big slides, a drop slide, a helter-skelter slide and a bumpy slide. (height restrictions).
At the other end of the park, there is the main house, a dinosaur trail, gardens and a maze. It takes around 15 minutes to walk between the two but you can park your car at either. There is also an old courtesy bus which runs between the playground and the house. Around the grounds they have statues of animals, the maze is relatively large and made of hedges.
There are many different dinosaurs to find on their trail with information boards about each one. You can also make some of them roar. There is plenty to see in the house with knowledgeable team members in each of the rooms. It is a Tudor stately home and has been home to the Lytton family since 1490.

Is there food and drink available?
There is a garden terrace tea room serving hot and cold food and drinks. There is also a kiosk by the play area which sells drinks and snacks. You can picnic in the grounds.

What are the ticket prices?
Make sure you purchase your tickets online in advance as you can make a good saving. Online an adult is just under £20 and a child 5-16 is just under £10. Children under 5 are free.

Is there parking?
There is free parking, but there may be a charge to park on event days.
When are they open?

Dog friendly?
Assistance dogs are welcome. Pet dogs are welcome on a lead but are not permitted in the House, Gardens, Dinosaur Trail or inside Fort Knebworth
