Normanby Hall Country Park

Normanby Hall is located in North Lincolnshire. Our main highlight is that it’s not expensive! In the large grounds, they have two playgrounds. The first is near the main car park and has plenty to climb on and slide down, there’s a wooden train to play on, zip wire and more.

The other playground is smaller and is perfect for toddlers, it is located next to the splash pad. There is a woodland trail in the grounds with a wooden play kitchen and a duck pond, there are also a few sculptures along the way. If you’ve not brought any duck food you can purchase duck food from the shop.

The splash pad is open during the summer months and next to it, you will find a walled Victorian garden. You can visit the stately hall which has some grandly decorated rooms. There are some lovely interactive things in the house for the kids (a massive doll house, dress-up etc).

As well as the splash pad in the summer months there is a miniature train at weekends, a land train, a farming museum and a petting zoo. Lincolnshire’s only Go Ape! can also be found there (costs extra). The land train and miniature train are also an additional cost. In the winter you can visit the grounds for just a small car parking fee. You then would just pay extra to visit the house.

If you’re lucky you might even spot some deer by the fence and don’t forget to stop by their giant photo frame for a selfie. It’s also very likely that you will see some peacocks wandering around.
