I would be so happy to live in Orlando, Florida. Why? Because there is so much to do for families. Not only things to do but some of the best days out in the world. We had such a wonderful time visiting Disney and Universal last year.

I would love to return and experience even more of what Orlando has to offer. This is my list of the Top 10 family attractions in Orlando, Florida. Some attractions may be just out of Orlando. To get the most out of your visit to Florida attractions it’s a good idea to avoid queues with Orlando park tickets.

Walt Disney World parks – Orlando

Walt Disney World actually covers 6 attractions and much more than 6 days out. With Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Hollywood Studios and Epcot. Plus their two water parks Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach.

There is something for everyone with a great range of rides, shows, characters to meet and greet, amazing restaurants and more. There is nothing quite like the magic of Disney. To help you make the most of the parks they have a great (and free) FastPass system.

Universal Parks – Orlando

Universal has two theme parks with rides at Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure. The rides cover all ages and they boast some pretty epic ones across the two parks. We love the dinosaur-themed rides and meet and greet, Harry Potter areas in both parks and the E.T. ride made my son fall in love with the character. They also have a great water park Volcano Bay.

Sea World – Orlando

Sea World is home to many sea creatures and spectacular shows. They also now have thrill rides plus rides for young and old. You can book some really unique experiences and meet many of the sea animals in the park. SeaWorld has a great research program, it’s great to see such a large attraction giving something back.

Busch Gardens – Tampa

Busch Gardens is located just outside of Orlando. They have a lovely steam train that takes you around some of the animals. They also have a great selection of rides, it’s not just about the safari park animals at Busch Gardens. You can upgrade your ticket to hand-feed a giraffe or get priority access to their more popular rides with a Quick Queue pass.

Gatorland – Orlando

Gatorland isn’t somewhere for a full day out but as it’s the Alligator capital of the world it is certainly worth a visit. You can even zip wire over the gators, what fun! They even have experiences where you can meet a gator up close and personal.

Discovery Cove – Orlando

At Discovery Cove you can swim with dolphins or you can snorkel in a coral reef. They also have other animals at the park that you can see during your visit. Children have to be 6 or over to swim with the dolphins. They also have a wonderful walk-through aviary.
