Located in Dover, near St Lawrence, Barbados is the Turtle Beach Resort. It is set on a white-sand beach and it has a number of facilities. St Lawrence is the biggest resort on the island with several rum shacks, Bajan restaurants and tropical beaches. Close to the hotel, there is a host of bars and restaurants. The hotel is a 15-minute drive from Barbados airport. Dover Beach is more peaceful than the neighbouring beaches.
Highlights
For the water-lovers, there are a couple of large swimming pools to choose from. The pools are lined by palm trees and surrounded by sunloungers. One of the pools has a whirlpool bath and kids have their own paddling pool. Aqua aerobic classes are a popular activity in one of the pools.

Your Board Basis
The board at this hotel is all-inclusive. Included is a buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner. Snacks at set times are included as well as the Freeze ice cream parlour and Half Moon Coffee and Deli. Selected local-brand alcohol, soft drinks, tea and coffee are included. As well as the open-air buffet restaurant there is a seafront restaurant, an Italian with a la carte dining plus the deli and parlour.
Additional Activities
From the hotel Aqua School, you can take part in a number of complimentary watersports. This includes snorkelling, kayaking, windsurfing and more. Sailing has an additional charge. There are complimentary cooking demonstrations and classes. Plus tennis courts, table tennis, football and there is a playground. While the kids are having fun at the club adults can relax at the spa or workout in the fitness room.
Entertainment
The hotel-run Flying Fish Kid’s Club is great for children aged 3-11. Activities include beach games, Nintendo consoles plus arts and crafts. In the evening there are regular live singers, quizzes and a Manager cocktail party is held weekly.
