Darley Park
Darley Park, otherwise known as Darley Abbey Park, is located in the village of Darley Abbey, Derbyshire. This is the park I grew up next to! It’s a lovely big green space perfect for walking with a picturesque setting next to the River Derwent.
Things to do at Darley Park
Along the top of the park, there are small areas of woodland and planting. The park has a number of entrances one of which is opposite the Darley Abbey pub. The park hosts concerts and fantastic fireworks displays.
At the park, you can enjoy tennis or have a game of football. There is also a small play area. For younger children, there is a new timber platform and slide plus some swings. For older children, there is a new tyre swing, and a trim trail including balance beams, stepping stones and a hanging rope walk.
