Beacon Alpacas
Beacon Alpacas are located near Husthwaite in North Yorkshire. You can enjoy alpaca walks through the Yorkshire Dales and bookings are by appointment only.
You can walk their alpacas every day except Tuesdays and Thursdays. The experience lasts for two hours and children must be over 7 years old to take part and they must accompany an adult. There are ample opportunities for photos along the way. The views are stunning and on a clear day, you can see the White Horse at Kilburn and the Vale of York.
They now offer Alpaca Wrangler sessions for the day. A maximum of two people can spend the day meeting and feeding their alpacas plus their other farm animals. You will learn how to herd, catch, halter and walk an alpaca and more. Participants must have a reasonable level of fitness to take part.
