The Steel Cauldron review
At Wizard School their Wizard in Residence Professor Ashton Carter and his magical assistants will teach you a selection of fabulous magic tricks that will help you become the Wizard, Witch or Magician of your dreams. All tricks taught are easy to learn and perform and require no special skills or knowledge.
Meet the Owl’s sessions are when you can enjoy their selection of food and drink while hearing a talk from the owls’ handler, and then watch as they take wing and soar around the Cauldron! The owls are available for photos throughout the day.
Booking for the shows such as the magic school and owl displays is essential and those performers are not there every day so checking the website is a must for dates and times. There is also a cost of £7 pp to watch the owl display but if you are just visiting for food and crafts, seeing and taking photos of the owls is free.
In the morning they serve a range of breakfast options. Lunchtime and afternoons they serve wonderful Wizard’s tea including a cauldron of popcorn with a chocolate wand, magic beans, chocolate frog and more. Evening meals are more basic with pitta wraps and sharing meat mezes. Bookings in advance are preferable but walk-ins may sometimes be available.
