What is there to do at Millhouses Park?
The park covers approximately 13 hectares and it contains a large and varied mix of native and ornamental tree species. It was created in 1907 when the 7th Early Fitzwilliam gave some of his land to the City of Sheffield.
A splash water play area was opened at the park in 2010 and it now incorporates a traditional play area plus an adventure play area. There is a skate area and the old paddling pools have been filled in the allow migratory fish to swim upstream to spawn. This area has several rock pools and planting areas. Next to the skatepark, you will find an outdoor gym and there are further improvements to be made on the playground.
