Cleethorpes Boating Lake

Cleethorpes Boating Lake is a lovely place for families to visit. There is lots to see and do. You could go for a walk around the lake. But make sure you take some food for the hungry ducks and geese. It is a traditional seaside boating lake which can be found at the southern end of the Cleethorpes local nature reserve.

There are two main lakes with a connecting channel. You can also hire a pedalo or a rowing boat and take your family out on the water. There is a small waterfall which cascades from one of the islands which gives it a great tropical atmosphere.

There is also a sandpit so don’t forget a bucket and spade. This is also where you will find the fun shipwreck adventure playground. In the summer months, there is also a fun paddling pool with a fountain in the middle. Cleethorpes Boating Lake is a great place to have a picnic and spend a few hours with the kids. The north lake also allows fishing and if you’re lucky you may spot some model boats. In the middle of this lake, there is an illuminated fountain.
