Things to do at East Riding Leisure Bridlington
The family pool is perfect for kids learning to swim in as it’s deep enough but not too deep, even adults can swim in this pool without knocking their legs on the bottom. The centre also offers swimming lessons, although there is usually a waiting list.
Next to the family pool is a fun splash area perfect for kids. There is a mini tube slide and a couple of smaller slides for really little ones. Plus plenty of buckets of tipping water, water jets and a water play area. It’s all great for confidence building. However beware of the tipping bucket, it’s the biggest amount of water I’ve ever seen.
The splash area has two BIG slides. One that you can score the best score of the day on, plus it lights up as you zoom down. The other slide is perfect for building confidence in younger children. It’s fun without being too scary and the water at the bottom is shallow so they’re not likely to get soaked.
The leisure centre also has a members-only gym. You can also book to use their sports courts. During the week they often have under 5’s soft play sessions with a bouncy castle and other soft play equipment for little ones. The centre also offers birthday parties where you can hire out large bouncy equipment.
