Maize Maze

Cattows Farm is located near Coalville in Leicestershire. They have a variety of ‘seasonal’ offerings such as PYO fruit, pick your own sunflowers and pick your own pumpkins. There is also a tearoom. They also usually have a maize maze in the summer which they transform into a spooky maze for Halloween.

Pick Your Own Pumpkins – PYO Pumpkin Patch

Said to be the biggest pumpkin patch in the UK! They also theme the site really well with lots of spooky additions. They boast over 170,000 pumpkins, squashes and ornamental gourds for you to choose from. There is a giant bouncy area, peddle karts, charity fun runs and a bale mountain. You can also meet some of their farm animals.

Cost? £2 per person on weekdays, £3 at weekends. You pay for what you pick with an average pumpkin costing between £1.50-£3.50. Some activities have a small cost.

Maize Maze

Cattow farms are well known for their Maize Maze.

They also have pick-your-own strawberries, raspberries, gooseberries, blackcurrants and redcurrants when in season. Plus pick your own sunflowers, again when in season.

Other things to do at Cattows Farm

There is a farm shop on-site which also hosts extra family activities. Plus woodland walks with 400 acres of the National Forest to explore.

Tea Room – The Tea Room is open 7 days a week for main meals, light bites stunning homemade desserts and their popular Sunday Lunch. You can also enjoy an afternoon tea there.

Dog friendly? Dogs are not allowed in any indoor area such as the tearoom nor outdoors in the pick-your-own fields. They are allowed in the woodland.
