Cotswold Wildlife Park & Gardens

Cotswold Wildlife Park and Gardens is the perfect day out for all the family, especially for those with children. We are always so impressed with how well-maintained and spotless the grounds and gardens are. There are 160 acres of beautiful landscapes and gardens to explore with over 260 different animal species from reptiles and insects to birds and mammals.

What is there to do at Cotswold Wildlife Park & Gardens?

The exhibits are very interactive allowing guests to get up close to many different animals, picnic on the lawn in front of the rhinos, go head height with the giraffes, get a photo with the very friendly pelicans, take the bridge over the wolves, visit the penguins at feeding time, walk with the Lemurs and feed the goats in the petting zoo!

Aside from the amazement of all the animals, to see, there is also a huge wooden adventure playground for children to explore with treehouses, slides, bridges and climbing nets.

If you are taking children then definitely queue for the £1 train ride around the entire park on the Bella Train. Queues look very long during busy periods, but they move quickly. Under 3s are free to ride the train. You can usually purchase a Bella Train badge for 50p from the driver. For the children, this is one of the highlights of their day. The expansive lawns next to the rhinos, zebras and giraffes offer plenty of space to enjoy your own picnic on a warm day.

Is there food and drink available?

You can get hot or cold meals with locally sourced ingredients in The Oak Tree Restaurant. During peak periods there are ice-cream and hot drinks kiosks open throughout the park. You can picnic in the grounds.

What are the ticket prices?

It is cheaper to purchase your tickets online in advance. An adult ticket online is £14.40 and just under £10 for children aged 3-16 years. Under 3’s are free.
