Cusworth Hall Museum and Park

Cusworth Hall is a free, place to visit near Doncaster in South Yorkshire. You get great views across to Doncaster from the top of the hill by the hall. It is a Grade 1 listed building set in beautiful parkland. The hall has recently been transformed into a museum that documents Doncaster’s social history.

What can you do at Cusworth Hall?

There is some lovely parkland which you can take a walk around, especially around their lakes. Make sure you buy some duck food from the shop as there are plenty of eager birds waiting by the lakes. There is a relatively large playground at Cusworth, located next to the car park. There is equipment for toddlers, up to older children.

The museum within Cusworth Hall covers 3 floors and there is lift access. There are plenty of rooms with interesting exhibits and a lot of them have interactive displays. Some include code-breaking, dress up and the kitchens down in the basement are well-laid out.
