Situated on the top of a cliff in Playa Paraiso is the Bahia Principe Sunlight Costa Adeje. From the hotel, you can enjoy some great ocean views and relax in its laid-back atmosphere. Playa Paraiso has a mix of shops, bars and restaurants. Nearby there is the bustling resort of Playa de las Americas and the stylish Costa Adeje. Within a short drive of the hotel, there is the Aqualand and Siam Park waterparks. Transfer time from the airport is 40 minutes by coach.

The cliffside is where you will find the hotel’s rooms which are in multi-coloured buildings and they feature courtyards and there is a village square with a stage. Scattered around the site are shops, some restaurants and a spa with a hair salon. You can walk down to a cosy rocky cove or board a bus to Playa de las Americas where there are plenty of sandy beaches.

The main swimming pool is lake-sized and has a variety of daily activities such as aqua aerobics, water polo and bingo. Children have their own pool and if you are seeking peace and quiet then there is a stunning infinity pool situated on the cliff edge.

Your Board Basis

The board at this hotel is on an all-inclusive basis. Included is a buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner. If you stay for a week you have three a la carte meals included, 6 if you stay for 2 weeks. These are at a choice of four different restaurants and reservations are required. There are also snacks at set times, selected local-brand alcohol, soft drinks, tea and coffee.

Additional Activities

Sports-wise this hotel has a tennis court, table tennis, darts and minigolf and the hotel runs a daytime activity programme. Adults can enjoy a long list of massages at the spa or work out at their outdoor gym. Reception is open 24 hours and their daily shuttle bus to Las Americas costs 3 euros per person for a return. Reservations must be made at reception.

Entertainment

You can expect occasional nights of entertainment, but mostly this hotel keeps it under wraps past sunset. There are lots of heavyweight shows at the hotel next door though, if you want a higher tempo. Pack little ones off to the hotel-run kids’ club. Here, children can learn about the great outdoors, play games and take part in competitions.
