We first stayed in a hotel room with a swim-up pool on a family holiday a couple of years ago. We absolutely loved the experience. It was great being able to use the hotel’s other pools but having a swim-up room was great for chilling out at the end of the day.
One thing Turkey hotels seem to have in abundance are swim-up rooms and many of them come off suites for families. I’d go as far as to say that Turkey is the best destination when it comes to choice and variety of hotels with swim-up rooms.
Finding which hotels have swim-up rooms is not an easy task. To help you find your next holiday we have created a list of what to us are some of the best hotels with swim-up rooms that families can stay in. If you click on a link in this piece, we may earn affiliate revenue.
#1. Trendy Hotels Lara – Lara Beach
The Trendy Hotels Lara is an excellent choice for a family holiday to Turkey. A great feature is it’s big pool with waterslides for young and old plus fun evening entertainment for all the family to enjoy.
The pool has lots of different sections to it that are split by tree-dotted walkways and sunbathing zones. The waterpark has 6 slides and it is open from April until October. There is an indoor swimming pool plus a kids pool and an exclusive swim-up pool which is only open from April until October.
Other facilities include a kid’s club for children aged 4-12 and one for older children aged 12-17. Sports facilities include a games room, volleyball court, table tennis, archery and a playground. The hotel’s private beach is across the river and for adults, there is a Spa and Wellness area, gym, Turkish Bath, steam room and a beauty salon.
Board at this hotel is on an all-inclusive basis which includes a buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner. There are snacks at set times plus selected local-brand alcohol, soft drinks, tea and coffee.
Swim-up rooms at this hotel include a swim-up duplex villa with a balcony or terrace. These can sleep up to 5 people plus there are some swim-up suites for up to 3 people. They also have some great 2-bedroom family rooms, although these aren’t swim-up rooms.

#2. Lujo Hotel Bodrum – Bodrum
The Lujo Hotel Bodrum is massive and a highlight is the wonderful sandy beach next to a stunning turquoise sea. There is not just one beach but a trio of private beaches.
On-site there are eight restaurants and 14 bars and you can stay on a bed and breakfast or all-inclusive board basis. At the Lujo there are four infinity pools, an onsite aqua park with waterslides and an indoor heated swimming pool. Plus 2 kids’ pools one indoors and the other outdoors.
Kijo Kid’s Club is great for kids and teens up to the age of 17. You can expect aqua park fun, mini-tournaments, arts and crafts, LEGO, gales, and more. In the evenings there is a mini disco and an entertainment programme including live music, shows and more.
Sports facilities include beach volleyball, table tennis, swimming lessons and watersports. Plus there is a basketball court, private tours, bike hire and more. The Spa has a great number of wonderful facilities including a steam room, jacuzzi and a salt room.
Their swim-up rooms are superior doubles with a terrace that sleeps up to 3 people. They also have family rooms with limited sea views and balconies which can sleep up to 4. These are not swim-up rooms.

#3. Orka Sunlife Resort and Spa – Dalaman Area
At the Orka Sunlife Resort and Spa, you can expect an added dose of family-friendly fun with a lively pool scene for everyone, a long list of activities and evening entertainment.
If you are after a 2-bedroom family room then not only does this hotel have them but they can also be swim-up rooms. They also have luxury swim-up suites with a terrace and their non-swim-up rooms include standard 2-bedroom family rooms and a 3-bedroom villa that sleeps up to 6 people.

#4. TUI Sensatori Barut Sorgun – Side, Antalya Area
If you are seeking luxury then the TUI Sensatori Barut Sorgun could be the hotel for you. Board at the hotel is all-inclusive which includes dinner at three a la carte during your stay and a 24-hour package with premium drinks poured around the clock.
For something extra special families can book a family area swim-up 1-bedroom family room or even a 2-bedroom family room swim-up with a terrace that sleeps up to 5 people. They even have deluxe suites for up to 3 people that have a private pool.
There are three main outdoor pools including an activity area with a children’s splash pool. Kids can make new friends at the TUI Kids’ Club and there is also an excellent evening entertainment programme. They even have a baby club for really young children under 3 years old and the older children can attend the Hangout for ages 12-15.
If you are feeling sporty there are tennis courts, a multi-sports court, archery and football. Adults can work out in the gym or spend time at BLUE Spa with a sauna and Turkish Bath.

#5. Kaya Palazzo Golf Resort – Belek, Antalya Area
Located right by a beach and boasting nine bars, eight restaurants, four pools and a fully equipped spa the Kaya Palazzo Golf Hotel is a great family-friendly resort.
There are swim-up double rooms in the main building that sleep up to 4 people. Or you could book a swim-up 1-bedroom family room or even a 2-bedroom swim-up family room with a terrace. For the ultimate indulgence, why not book their luxury swim-up suite for up to 4 people?
The main outdoor pool is dotted with palm islands and bridges. Kids will love the Aqua Tower Children’s Pool and there is an on-site water park with waterslides for different heights and ages. Yes, you read it right this hotel is an island in its own right. La Blanche Island is just for the hotel guests and it is surrounded by three private beaches. You also have the added benefit of wraparound views with some of the best being from the infinity pool where rollerblading waiters deliver drinks to your sunbeds. This is 5* at its best.
There are three outdoor pools to choose from plus a waterpark with slides for children and adults. You can also visit their indoor swimming pool and there is a kid’s indoor pool. Other children’s facilities include a kids’ club and a mini-disco.
Evening entertainment can include dance shows, Turkish-themed nights, live music and shows. The hotel also runs a daytime activity programme and there are a few sports facilities plus a spa and gym.

Another luxury TUI hotel perfect for a family-friendly holiday. The all-inclusive package at the TUI Sensatori Barut Fethiye is particularly impressive as it is 24 hours. There is a buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner plus you can eat dinner in 4 of the 6 eateries. Locally-produced drunks are served morning until midnight.
Swim-up rooms for families are in the mixed area and can sleep up to 3 people or there are slightly larger swim-up rooms that can sleep up to 4 people. Plus there are also 1-bedroom and 2-bedroom family swim-up rooms in the family area.
There is an adult area and a family area at this hotel. The main pool is in the family section and families can also access the activity pool, a children’s splash pool an indoor pool and an outdoor pool with waterslides.

Another great hotel by a beach is the deluxe Hotel Baia Lara which has seven pools. Board for everyone at this hotel is on an all-inclusive basis. Families can stay in 2-bedroom swim-up family rooms with a pool view and terrace.
There is one main pool outdoors which is huge and then there are another six pools around the grounds, one of which is just for adults. The Aqua Tower is popular with families as it features 9 slides and is open seasonally. Kids have an indoor and outdoor pool/

The Ephesia Holiday Beach Club has its own private beach and it is a perfect location for enjoying a wonderful sunset. The town centre is just 20 minutes away by bus.

Located by the beach with 5 pools and 6 restaurants is the Papillon Ayscha. Belek is the Beverly Hills of the Turkish Rivera and attracts an exclusive international crowd to the area.

The TUI Magic Life Jacaranda simply oozes luxury with its 6 speciality restaurants, a fantastic sandy beach on its doorstep and some really lovely swim-up rooms.
There are 2-bedroom family swim-up rooms in the Lake House with an enclosed terrace plus other 2-bedroom rooms that are not swim-up. The board is 24-hour all-inclusive with at least two speciality restaurants included.
If you are looking for a huge activity pool then this could be the hotel for you. It even has a bridge to cross from one side to the other. You can have fun in their aquapark with waterslides and there is a family pool plus three lagoon pools. Indoors there is a heated swimming pool.
