Iron Pit Woods Adventure
Based at the Holiday Inn in Corby, Northamptonshire, is Iron Pit Woods Adventure. They have an outdoor adventure golf course and an aerial assault course with a zip wire. The High Ropes aerial assault course is 6 metres high and is located over their 18-hole adventure golf course. It is in a woodland setting with bluebells in late spring. There are a number of obstacles, including wiggly steps, see-saw steps, wobbly bridges and the 41-metre zip wire.
Children can take part in the high ropes course from the age of 8, and the course is not suitable for anyone who is afraid of heights. They recommend that suitable clothing for the weather on the day is worn, including comfortable trainers. Harnesses and a helmet are supplied on-site.
The 18-hole adventure golf course is also set in the woodland. It includes a water feature with waterfalls throughout. The course, although outdoors, is suitable all year round and is suitable for ages 3 and over. They can even host your child’s birthday party. Packages can include a round of adventure golf or 2 circuits of the high ropes course, or a combination of both. Other activities can also be booked.
