Fleetwood Museum

Fleetwood Museum is a local history and maritime museum located in the seaside town of Fleetwood, Lancashire. The building was originally the town’s Customs House and dates back to 1836. It was designed by the architect Decimus Burton and it was one of the first buildings built in Fleetwood.

The museum is open from early April until early December and there is a small charge to visit. The town’s history is brought to life through family-friendly displays that feature real objects from the past and present. Much of what is on display relates to Fleetwood’s port and fishing heritage. They also have temporary exhibitions and free craft activities for children.
