What is there to do at Arreton Barns?

Around the site, there are a number of buildings, features and artefacts of a traditional English village from many years ago. There is a 12th-century church, a historic carp pond, a village green, glass works, a sweet shop and numerous craft rooms. You can enjoy a walk around the stunning grounds and explore at your leisure.

In many of the craft rooms, you will be able to see artists at work. There is an excellent viewing area in the glass studio plus there is a glass museum. Some of the craft rooms also run workshops. It is worth exploring their website before you visit to see if there is anything that would suit your family. There is even a traditional penny arcade with games from an early era and an exhibition of classic cars.

Also at Arreton Barns, there is the Shipwreck Centre and Maritime Museum which is the largest of its kind in the UK. Everything on display has come from shipwrecks and there are lots of fascinating items to see.
