Obstacle Training Ground
Obstacle Training Ground is an outdoor activity centre located in Bassingbourn, Hertfordshire. It is a huge outdoor obstacle course with over 36 obstacles raging in difficulty and it is suitable for young and old.
What is there to do at the Obstacle Training Ground?
They are the perfect venue for challenging your inner gladiator. There is something for everyone and there are easy and hard options for most of their obstacles. The huge purpose-built arena took around 4 months to build and it is still being improved and added to today.
Obstacles include a tyre run., ninja boards, tyrelator and tunnels. Plus up and overs, swings, balancing beams, monkey bars, nets and so much more. There are also some pits where you may or may not get wet and muddy.
Each session starts with a safety briefing and a warm-up. There are family pay and play sessions for everyone plus adult-only sessions and kids’ action time where no adults are allowed. Children can take part from the age of 5 and under 12s must be accompanied by a paying adult. You do not need to take part but you must have purchased a ticket as this allows you access to the course. Sessions last for 90 minutes.
