Queen Elizabeth Country Park Hampshire

Queen Elizabeth Country Park is located in Horndean, Hampshire. It is a large country park with woodlands, cycling and horse riding trails plus a visitor centre and cafe. The park has around 2,000 acres to explore with a range of short walks which are clearly way-marked on the ground. These vary from 1.7-5 miles. There is also the Dragon of Buster Hill walk which is a short interactive trail for children.
Also in the park, there are two mountain bike trails. One is a 3.7-mile intermediate trail and there is a 4.6-mile advanced trail. You can rent electric bikes from Souther eBike rentals and there are also regular cycling routes.
There is an adventure play area for children aged eight where there is an extensive range of equipment located near the Juniper BBQ site. This has a zip wire, log cabin climbing frames, an obstacle course and more. For families with young children, they run a hands-on nature club. This is available during school term time with activities and resources being appropriate to the weather and the seasons. These cost £26 per half term for a 6-week block.
