Moreton Beach

Moreton Beach

Moreton Beach is otherwise known as Moreton Shore and is part of the North Wirral Coastal Park. There is a car park giving you access to the promenade and beach as well as green spaces and is near to Leasowe lighthouse.

From the car park, the beach is accessible via steps although a short distance up is another car park giving access to the promenade and beach too along Leasowe Road. You can walk towards Hoylake and West Lirby in one direction and Leasowe and Wallasey in the other all along one path.

There are toilets on the main road and a train station within walking distance and you can get food and drinks from The Green Hut which is regularly voted as the best place for fish and chips on the Wirral (well deserved too). There is usually an ice cream van parked up and the beach has lifeguards on duty.

This is a guest post with thanks to One Frazzled Mum.
