Brimstage Maze

Last Updated on April 5, 2024 by Suzy McCullough

Please note this attraction is seasonal, and only opens in the summer (July to September) Brimstage Maze is near Birkenhead in the Wirral, Merseyside.

What is there to do at Brimstage Maze?

The main event at Brimstage, of course, is the Maize maze. In 2020, the maze was bigger and better than ever. It can take between 60 – 90 minutes to complete. The Maze is really interactive with lots of puzzles and landmarks to be found. There is also a magical fairy garden to explore which is really special.

There is a small park suitable for younger children and babies. Colourful, plastic slides and climbing frames with a sandpit this area is ideal for toddlers. There are two bouncing pillows so you can jump to your heart’s content. Plus laser guns where you team up and hide from each other trying to to get hit from the lasers.

One of our favourite things to do at Brimstage is to make fill water balloons and use the catapult to launch them at each other. This is so much fun and perfect on those hot summer days. Next to this area is a place where you can sieve for some gems. Make sure you do this earlier on in the day as you will find no gems left late afternoon.

Go-karts are available to wheel around and also 4 zip wires to ride on. There is also a crazy golf area which of course is a lot of fun and can get quite competitive! There is also an indoor area with a huge soft play, huge balls and a bouncy castle for children. There are some huts scattered about that have picnic benches inside allowing you some shelter should you need it.
