Avonvale Miniature Railway

Avonvale Miniature Railway is located in Alcester, Warwickshire. It is a dual 5 and 7 1/4 gauge railway with bridges, a station and a tunnel. They have around 4 running days a month which are listed on their website.

Weather permitting the miniature railway runs between March and October and there is plenty of free, parking for visitors. Next to the railway, there is a picnic area and a children’s playground.

There are curves and gradients to the track and excitement for passengers as one train crosses the bridge whilst the following train passes underneath. The track is fully signalled so several trains can be running at one time.
