Mizens Railway

Mizens Railway

Mizens Railway is a 71/4 inch gauge miniature railway located in Knaphill near Woking, Surrey. It is located on a 10-acre woodland site and there are two different routes with the longest being 1 mile long.

The railway uses a variety of locomotives including steam engines. The railway takes its name from its original location at Mizens Farm where the headquarters of McLaren is now located. The railway is entirely run by volunteers.

They host a number of special events throughout the day including a 1940s day and Santa specials. The footbridge, when open, provides a great vantage point for watching the trains leaving the tunnel and approaching the platform. There are also a few other things to see around the site.
