All Things Alpaca

All Things Alpaca offer alpaca experiences from their farm in Great Baddow near Chelmsford, Essex. They offer a range of family-friendly experiences.

You can book alpaca trekking which lasts for 1 hour. The experience includes a 15-minute health and safety briefing and then a 45-minute trek through the beautiful orchards on the farm. There are plenty of photo opportunities. Children aged 8-15 can help lead an alpaca with one accompanying adult. 16+ years can lead an alpaca each.

They also offer Alpaca meet-and-greet experiences. You will be able to learn all about their alpacas and you will have the opportunity to feed them and take lots of photos. Your child can also have a go at being a junior farmer for an hour. They will carry out a range of activities including feeding, cleaning and grooming their alpacas, donkeys, goats, pigs, rabbits, guinea pigs, mini beasts and chickens. Children can take part from the ages of 5-15.

You can also book other meet and greets including a Pygmy goat meet and greet experience for 30 minutes £10-20. Rabbit and guinea pig meet and greet also for the same price and time. Plus a donkey greet and groom and a mini beast explorers experience. They can even host your child’s birthday party.

Alpaca trekking £32 per adult, £22 per child aged 8-15. Meet and greet – Adults £25, children aged 3-15 £15. Junior farmer £50 per child (includes 1 accompanying adult).
