Tinside Lido

Attraction Overview

Tinside Lido is located by the sea in Plymouth, Devon. It is a beautiful location overlooking the sea at the top of Plymouth Hoe. It has even been voted as one of the top 10 best outdoor pools in Europe.

The lido was built in 1935 and it is a slice of the quintessential British seaside from a bygone area. It is a wonderful example of art-deco style and is Grade II listed. There is a lovely sun deck which is one of the best places in the area to soak up the sun.

Open during the summer months it is a lovely outdoor saltwater swimming pool. The pool is fully accessible to people of all needs and it is perfect for all with a shallow and deep end. There are several water features and the pool water, as it is seawater, is not heated.
