Riverside Park Chester Le Street

Riverside Park Chester Le Street

Riverside Park in Chester Le Street, County Durham was first opened in the 1930s and saw some later development and features a large play area.

You can enjoy a walk along the River Wear and take a picnic or head for the wildlife area with a pond and grassland meadow. There is a splash pad that opens from early July until mid-September, weather permitting.

The park has some beautiful gardens and each area reflects a different star or planet. The play park has a range of equipment including slides, climbing equipment, swings and more.
