Stonehaven Open Air Pool

Stonehaven Open Air Pool

The Stonehaven heated open-air pool is located at The Links, Queen Elizabeth Park, in the picturesque town of Stonehaven, Aberdeenshire.

The pool is Olympic-sized and has been open since 1934. Its claim to fame is that it is the northernmost lido in the UK. The pool is art deco in style and it is filled with seawater. The water is heated to around 29oC and the pool is open seasonally from late May to early September.

At the deep end, there is a small, shark-themed, water slide. They have an inflatable area at selected weekends. There are sheltered sun terraces and a paddling pool for under 8s. Next door to the lido there is a leisure centre which has an indoor swimming pool.
