The Axe Valley Wildlife Park is located near Axminster in Devon. It is a small, compact zoo that is home to a variety of animals, from around the world from antelopes to zebra.
Things to do at Axe Valley Wildlife Park
They believe that any age group will love their animals. However, they are primarily aimed at families with children under 12 years of age. There are several play areas around the park suitable for all ages.
Animals include flamingoes, meerkats, tortoises, pygmy goats and more. They offer animal encounter sessions including handling a snake, tarantula or cockroach plus hand-feeding their birds. It is smaller than a typical zoo but you can get closer to their animals.
