Collections include bronze age material found near Banbury and Saxon jewellery. Plus a canon from Banbury castle, locally manufactures tools and more. The Pye Gallery features an ever-changing programme of temporary exhibitions.

There is also the Waterways gallery which straddles the canal and connects to the museum shop. This tells the story of the people who lived and worked on the Oxford canal and the importance of the waterways to Banbury’s past.
