Barry Island Pleasure Park
The Barry Island Pleasure Park was opened way back in 1897. It is located on the coast at Barry Island in the Vale of Glamorgan, Wales. The pleasure park features over 17 fairground rides and attractions ranging from simple children’s amusements to extreme rides. From classics like The Waltzer to cups and saucers.
Entry to the park is free. Tokens can be purchased for the rides and can be used throughout the year. Rides include The Star Flyer, standing at 55m high the ride is claimed to be one of the highest of its kind in Europe. The Wild Mouse can be seen from a mile away, it is a huge rollercoaster that has been thrilling visitors to the park. They have Dodgems, another thrill ride plus a log flume and a Giant Ferris wheel.
There are more rides for adults and older children. Younger children will enjoy chair-o-panes, trampolines, a traditional carousel, peddle boats, an inflatable slide, mini jets and more.

Entrance is free, you then purchase ride tokens. Tokens cost less the more you purchase. 50 tokens are £35. The larger rides require 4 tokens, smaller rides require less.

When are they open?
