Bill Douglas Cinema Museum
The Bill Douglas Cinema Museum is located at the University of Exeter in Exeter, Devon. It is home to one of the largest collections of material relating to the moving image in Britain. It was founded in 1994 and opened to the public in 1997.

There are two galleries which are open to the public and the museum is named after the filmmaker Bill Douglas. The museum was founded with his own collection and that of his friend Peter Jewell. There are over 86,000 artefacts dating from the 17th Century to the present day with over 1,000 on public display.
Items on display include magic lanterns, shadow puppets, panoramas, dioramas, peep shows and optical illusions. Plus merchandising and film publicity material.
