Birchfield Family Dairies is located in Summerbridge, northwest of Harrogate in North Yorkshire. It has a variety of ‘seasonal,’ offerings such as an ice-cream parlour, a maize maze and a pumpkin festival.
Pick Your Own Pumpkins – PYO Pumpkin Patch Pumpkin Festival
You can visit their Pumpkin patch where they grow 6 acres of pumpkins in many different colours and varieties. Grab a wheelbarrow and head to the patch to choose your perfect pumpkin! Make sure you wear your wellies or boots as you will pick your pumpkins from the field and it can get muddy!
Cost? They don’t charge admission to the pumpkin patch, you just pay for what you pick.
If you wish to visit the farm animals, activities, maize maze and carving barn this is charged at £5 per person. Under 2s are free.

Maize Maze
In 2021 the Maze had wider paths than previous years to allow for social distancing. They had some new outdoor animal pens. Plus hand sanitiser at the entrance for you to use (or if you prefer bring your own). They also revamped their woodland walk, offered more outdoor seating and undertook regular cleaning and sanitising during the day.

Dog friendly? No unfortunately for health and safety reasons we don’t allow dogs in the pumpkin patch or farmyard
