Blickling Estate

Blickling Estate

Blickling Hall is a National Trust stately home that is part of the Blickling Estate in the village of Blickling, Norfolk. The gardens at Blickling cover 55 acres and contain formal and informal gardens. There are also woodlands, a kitchen garden, and Grade II-listed buildings and structures.

There are a number of walks around the estate with useful walk instructions online. There is an estate walk, a mausoleum walk and a multi-use trail which is a 4-mile path ideal for wheelchairs. Also in the gardens are two secret tunnels which are a favourite for families to explore.

There is also a Caddisly trail activity trail around the garden so make sure you download an activity sheet. Caddisfly is a type of river fly and can be found in Blickling’s stream. You can also explore the house which has some lavish rooms to look round. These include a Great Hall, Drawing room, dining room, serving room, bedrooms and more.
