Bournemouth Aviation Museum
Museum Overview
Bournemouth Aviation Museum is located next to Bournemouth International Airport in Dorset. It houses a number of aircraft, aero engines, cockpits and a few ground vehicles.
Visitors are encouraged to climb into the cockpits of many of their aircraft. You will be able to imagine what it was like for a pilot to be handling the controls. The museum was founded in 1998 and today is situated near the Adventure Wonderland theme park.
There are other flying exhibits including model aircraft. It is a great place to enjoy a picnic close to the airport where you can see passenger planes in the air. They have an aviation trail for the kids to follow.
