British Bird of Prey Centre
The British Bird of Prey Centre is located in the National Botanic Garden of Wales near Llanarthney in South Wales. It is home to a specialist collection of British raptors and focuses on the welfare and conservation of our native species of birds of prey.
They have three amazing shows each day, each staring different species of raptor. You can watch Golden eagles, Red kids and Peregrine falcons flying within inches of you, all with the amazing backdrop of the botanic gardens. You can even have a go at flying a bird yourself. Their bird of prey experiences are available from just £10 per person. There is something to suit all ages and abilities.
The centre is based within 568 acres so there is lots of outdoor space. If you purchase a Garden plus ticket you can visit the gardens and the bird of prey centre. Their aviaries are designed specifically to house their native species. You will be able to walk around and see the birds in their own homes. Show tickets are sold separately and cost £3 per person per show. For more about a day out at the National Botanic Garden of Wales please follow this link.
