Cannock Chase Trekking Centre is located in Penkridge, near Stafford, Staffordshire. The centre is set in 43 acres of land and they have immediate access to the natural environment of Cannock Chase with beautiful and tranquil forests.
They specialise in providing off-road horse and pony trekking with a unique viewpoint you can only get on horseback. Their friendly and professional team are ready to welcome you with their 46-well-trained horses. They offer trekking for all riding abilities and first-timers are welcome.
Lisa and the team offer expert tuition delivered in a fun and relaxing way. They have a selection of off-road trail rides to suit all abilities. There is a FAQ on their website to help you decide which trek is suitable for you. Adults and children from the age of 7 are welcome on their treks.
Sessions include paddock/arena pony rides for children aged 4-7 who want to try horse riding and also those with a little experience. There is a 1-hour introductory horse/pony trek for younger riders and beginners. Then a 2-hour mixed ability horse/pony trek and a 2-hour experienced horse/pony trek. They also hold a variety of special events, throughout the year.
Please note there is a maximum weight of 15 stone per rider.
