ChesterBoat offers boat trips on the beautiful River Dee in Chester, Cheshire. They are a family-owned company with over forty years of experience and they run sightseeing, cruises plus private hire.

You can choose a half-hour city cruise where you can take in views of the stunning riverside homes and gardens. This includes a commentary detailing Chester’s rich Roman, medieval and industrial history.

Their other cruise is a two-hour Iron Bridge cruise through the Duke of Westminster’s Eaton Estate. It is a very tranquil stretch of the Dee and you should be able to spot an abundance of wildlife including swans, herons, moorhens and maybe even a kingfisher.

Tickets are slightly cheaper online. Half-hour cruise adult ticket online costs £7.65, children 5-15 £2.70 and children aged under 5 are free. 2-hour cruise adult ticket online costs £16.20, children 5-15 £6.50 and under 5 are free.
